How do I file a form online?
The Online Registry has more than 80 forms that can be filed online. See a full list of the
forms that can be used at different stages of the litigation process.
What you need to know
There are two types of forms available on the NSW Online Registry:
- Primary form – is a form which initiates a case (e.g. Statement of Claim).
- Secondary form – is a form which is added to an existing case (e.g. an Affidavit of Service or Notice of Motion for Default Judgment).
How to file a form
To start a new case;
- Login to the Online Registry
- Select New case tab
- Select the form you need to initiate a case
- Follow the prompts to complete the form
To file a form on an existing case;
- Login to the Online Registry
- Select Search cases tab
- Search for the case you wish to file the form
- Click the case name
- Click the File form tab
- Select the form you wish to submit
- Follow the prompts to complete the form
Important to note: For existing cases, forms are listed according to the stage your case has reached within the court process.
