What should I do if the solicitor on record or solicitor’s agent changes?

You must file a Notice of Change of Solicitor or Appointment of Solicitor form (UCPR form 77) when the solicitor on record changes or a solicitor’s agent changes.

What you need to know

To file a Notice of Change of Solicitor (UCPR 77) via the Online Registry, you will first need to download a copy of the form via the UCPR website.  You should save your completed form as a PDF file with a maximum file size of 5MB.

How to file 

1. Login to the Online Registry
2. Click on Find your case 
3. Enter the case number
4. Click Search 
5. Select form Notice of Change of Solicitor (UCPR 77)
6. Upload a PDF version of the signed form 
7. Click Submit

You will receive an email to confirm that the form has been successfully filed.
